Scientific Reason behind this Full Pink Moon :
Full Moon : The point in the Moon’s orbit that is closest to the Earth is called the Perigee. This is the reason for the Moon is Full and Large in size. Moon is 14% bigger and 30% brighter ever.
Pink Moon : The Moon turns a Pink/Orange hue because bluer wavelengths are filtered out by Earth’s atmosphere.
The full moon of April, called the Pink Moon, will rise on April 7 in the UK but reach peak brightness in the early hours of April 8. The orange and red tints are caused by dusty particles in the Earth’s atmosphere. When packets of light known as photons pass through the atmosphere it produces a pink hue. According to NASA, April’s Pink Moon will be the “most super” of the full Super Moons this year. Full Pink Moon is referred to as the Egg Moon, Full Sprouting Grass Moon, Growing Moon or the Full Fish Moon in other parts of the world.
